This local historic district includes St. Stanislaus Church and the structure around it. The Catholic Church disestablished this parish and it became a Protestant Church. The parochial school was remodeled into a modern elementary school by the Edison Corporation. This church is also known as Our Lady of the Incinerator because of its closeness to the nearby energy plant built by the city in the 1970s. St. Stanislaus is located at 2246 Medbury.
